Our Story
- Founded in the heart of Leander in 2019, Colibrí Bilingual Child Academy was built on a simple idea: young children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and free to play. What started as a small bilingual classroom has grown into a close-knit school community — without losing the personal touch that made families choose us in the first place.

Colibrí was co-founded by Ms. Shirley and Ms. Salma, two educators who set out to build the kind of school they wanted for their own children: warm, bilingual, and small enough that no child gets lost in the shuffle. Both are still hands-on at the school today — not distant owners, but part of the daily life of the classroom.
