Salón Verdes
Why This Stage Matters
At three and four years old, children become noticeably more social and confident, exploring their environment with growing independence. This is why Preschool at Colibrí puts real emphasis on group play — activities full of color, sound, and texture that help children express and identify a wider range of emotions as they learn to work as a team.
How Children Grow in Preschool
Physical Development
- Games, sports, and imaginative play build coordination, strength, and a lifelong love of movement — reinforced by our specialized Sports class and daily time on our large out-door campus.
Emotional Development
- A supportive space to explore feelings, build empathy, and grow confidence and inde-pendence, as children navigate more complex friendships and group dynamics.
Cognitive Development
- Puzzles, storytelling, and hands-on activities build problem-solving skills, memory, and a genuine love of learning — in both English and Spanish, as bilingual fluency continues to deepen.
Specialized Classes Built Into the Week
Preschoolers at Colibrí take part in our specialized classes — Art, Music, Sports, and Gardening — led by our own trained teaching team and woven into the regular school week, not offered as a separate paid add-on.
